Classroom sites are becoming increasingly popular. Teachers in all grades are building student blogs and podcasts in to their every day lessons. Students are loving it, as online schooling is bringing them in to 21st century learning.
Kids of all ages are now working with student blogs and podcasts. They are presenting their PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and digital projects on classroom sites. Best of all, some teachers are incorporating student sites in to the classroom site.
Student sites offer exceptional flexibility to teachers using web-based instruction. Now, students can place their assignments on t heir own secure, individual student net site, and they seldom must worry about losing the work, as it is maintained in a virtual folder. And, students can return to their project anytime they wish.
Schooling is changing with the ever-evolving technological world. Now, enterprising teachers are vaulting their students in to 21st century learning with classroom sites, featuring student blogs, podcasts and more.
Student blogs and podcasts can be placed directly on the teacher's classroom net site, so they can be basically shared with other students viewing the site; they may even be shared through other media. So, the teacher may put a subject on the classroom net site and ask students to write a weblog about it, or they might ask them to generate a podcast about the topic. They could select the best blogs and podcasts and feature them on the classroom net site for parents and students to view and listen to at anytime.
